Ján Višňovský

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ján Višňovský, Ph.D., is an associate professor at the Faculty of Mass Media Communication at the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, Slovak Republic, and a head of the Department of Mass Media Communication. He is particularly interested in problems and questions concerning journalism in the context of the development of information and communication technologies and the history of television. Ján Višňovský is an author of scientific monographs, textbooks, and over 100 scholarly articles and conference contributions. He is a member of the editorial boards of domestic and foreign scientific journals in the fields of media and communication, and a member of the Slovak Syndicate of Journalists, the International Federation of Journalists, and other Slovak and international professional organizations.
